Charlie Kenton is a bad bet. He was a boxer. Now he's the worst kind of washout. The sad kind. The kind who can't give it up, even when he really should.

The world's moved on. Boxing matches aren't about two guys duking it out anymore; fists and flesh, blood and sweat. Now it's steel, cold and hard and robotic. But, Charlie's still in the game, too stubborn and stupid to throw in the towel, he spends his days battling it out in any dirt arena or gravel pit he can get a bot into.

He might not have two quarters to rub together, but as long as he's got a fighter with enough bolts and grease to throw a blow, he's gonna keep getting into that ring.
